B&B Antica Posta is situated at the first
floor of a palace with elevator just in the
heart of Florence, few steps from the Central
Railway Station S. Maria Novella ; from the
Fortress " da Basso " , Congress Centre and
Business Centre in where the main shows and
expositions of the city take place ; from the
principal museums and monuments ( Duomo, Piazza
Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Galleria degli Uffizi )
; from the main streets for shopping ( Via
Tornabuoni, Via dei Calzaiuoli, Via Strozzi, Via
Roma) ; from the S. Lorenzo market that's a real
jewel of architecture ( famous all over the
world for its florentine handicraft ); from
renowned and typical restaurants, cafés and wine
cellars.
A few minutes by foot , going
to the Arno side, you can reach the ample
Cascine Park, the " cinquecento " game preserve
of Grand Duke Alessandro de Medici ; seat of a

the airport
The airport Vespucci and the
Central Railway Station S. Maria Novella are
connected every 30 minutes by the Ataf and Sita
Bus service. Ticket price € 4,00=.
You can
also take a taxi with an approximate cost of €
15,00=.
From the motorway A1
Exit "
Firenze Nord " Follow the signs marked " centro
" which should lead you into V.le Guidoni. At
its end on the right you'll find Via Forlanini;
drive along it completely. Turn around the
rotary intersection and take on your left V.le
Redi. At its end you'll be into V.le Belfiore .
Here, you'll be forced to drive along Via Guido
Monaco in front of you because of the one way
traffic. After few meters turn left into Via
Cittadella ; drive along it and you'll be again
into V.le Belfiore. Our B&B is at N° 50.
Exit " Firenze Sud "
Drive along the
turn-off completely and then turn left along the
Arno river . Continue straight on till to the
ring avenues, then drive along V.le Amendola (
Piazza Beccaria ) , V.le Gramsci ( Piazza
Donatello ), V.le Matteotti ( Piazza della
Libertà ) , V.le Lavagnini ( Fortress " da Basso
" ).
Continue on your left on to V.le
Belfiore which lead you under the railway bridge
and then into V.le Belfiore. After few meters
you'll find our B&B on the left at N° 50.
From the Central Railway Station Santa
Maria Novella
Take the exit on your right (
trucks at your back ) and go along Via Alamanni
. Cross Viale Fratelli Rosselli and continue
straight on Via Guido Monaco. At its end turn
right and you'll be in Viale Belfiore. Our
B&B is at N° 50.
